An unforgettable evening was held for music lovers in Catania, located in the Sicily region of Italy. As part of the Alla Turca Turkish Trio Concert, my compositions “The Memory of a City” and “Five Minarets at Bitlis” were performed for the first time in Italy.
The concert, organized by Camereta Polifonica Siciliana, was also part of the program of the 2025th InterSezioni Festival, one of Italy’s long-established festivals. The theme of the concert was the meeting of Eastern and Western music, a concept that was clearly reflected in the interpretation of the works.
